Scribd is loaded with lots of goddies. But they don’t allow you to download those for free. They ask you to upload your content (1 alternative to paying ) to get 24 hours of download.

But there’s a way around. And i stumbled it in one of the comments in Cutting the Chai blog.

First get the scribd content that you want to download. Next right click anywhere on the document ( other than the content itself) and View Source. Next click on the link that begins with “http://www.scribd.com/services/oembed…” ending in “…format=json“.

On the new page that opens up, copy the link starting with ” http://d1.scribdassets.com/ScribdViewer.swf?document_id=…” till the quote is closed and then paste it in new tab. You’ll see your document with option to Download or print. There you go, get all that you like.

Esp thanks to: Carl
