Thanks to Mike and Dibyajyoti Sarkar , I figured out the earlier tip regarding Scribd downloader wasn’t working anymore. So googling around I found this latest one and it works fine( it didn’t work for some but mostly worked fine). So for everyone, it’s like this.
First change the UserAgent of your browser to some mobile browser(e.g. Opera Mini),
Open up scribd and find the content you want to download, look for the Download Now button. If you can’t find it, well you can’t download the content.
Hope this works for longer time.

Simple things should remain simple, just copy the document_id and secret_password from the document you want and open a new Tab and hit this link..
http://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/DOCUMENT_ID_HERE/download?commit=Download+Now&secret_password=SECRET_PASSWORD_HERE

Ema, dnt know if it’s working. I tried it today, but seems something is not working here. When i checked with few books, i didn’t get any download button. U sure it worked yesterday?? Can u try with few other materials??

yes, the trick is dead as of now..no download button is showing now. I tried with few books and none showed the download button that used to appear earlier. Thanks for updating..I’ll post new one as soon as i get.
